Insurance
Depending on your insurance policy, occupational therapy may be a covered benefit. Benefits vary greatly from policy to policy so it is important to take the time to become acquainted with your individual benefits. Although Ability and Beyond is not a participating provider with any insurance carriers, we will support you by providing appropriate documentation of the occupational therapy services received at our center. We can provide you with an itemized receipt that will list all of the codes necessary for you to seek reimbursement. The codes are defined as follows: ICD-9 codes are diagnosis codes. These are individual for each person. CPT codes identify the procedure that occurred on the date of service. Ability and Beyond does not, at this time, individually bill insurance companies. Payment is the responsibility of the patient and is expected at the time of treatment. |
